Bio: Kyle Eng was born in Poughkeepsie, New York. He graduated from F.D. Roosevelt High School in 1986. When Kyle was 22 years old, he decided to move to Las Vegas, Nevada to get to know his father.
In less than a year of residing in the Las Vegas area, Kyle met his wife Arlyn Eng and on June 8, 1991 they got married and together they created a beautiful family with three daughters: Alexa, Kayla, and Alyssa. Kyle was described as an amazing husband and father because of the love, care, patience, laughter, security, and guidance he provided for his family which he spent most of his time working for and taking care of. When he was not working and had free time, he enjoyed playing sports with friends and family such as basketball, football, softball, bowling, volleyball, and cornhole.
In 1997 he started working as a truck driver for a local Las Vegas dairy. He was extremely reliable by working his hardest and never calling in. Within a few years he received recognition for his hard work and dedication to the company and was promoted to a manager position. He spent over 20 years working at the local dairy and in the year 2017 he decided to leave his job at the dairy to chase a long-life dream that he always wanted to fulfill, which was to become a police officer. Although many questioned why at the age of 50 would Kyle decide to start a new career with law enforcement, Kyle wanted to prove to his children and grandchildren that it is never too late and 'if you have a dream, you have to chase it'. It was his determination and perseverance that pushed him through to accomplish his goal in which he was immensely proud of by becoming a Corrections Officer for the City of Las Vegas Jail.
It is with great sadness to say that Kyle did not live long enough to fully live his dream and reap the rewards of reaching his aspiration of becoming a police officer. Kyle is loved and remembered by many for his strong sense of humor, willingness to help others, non-judgmental advice, forgiveness, integrity, the example he set to always be the best in whatever you do in life, and most of all, for how much he loved and took pride in his family. |
