Summary:
Constable Desforges was stationed at Casselman at the time of his death. Constable Desforges was on patrol with Constable Richard Jean. Constable Jean was driving the cruiser. Constable Desforges and Constable Jean were killed when their vehicle was struck by a passenger train. At the time of the collision the lights and barricades were working. The emergency lights on the cruiser were activated. They were responding to a call when the accident happened.
He had served with the OPP for 4 years.
Constable Desforges is survived by his wife and son.
