Officer Ronald Williams was shot and killed while he was moon lighting at a restaurant when his duty partner and her associate robbed the restaurant and shot and killed him.
Two restaurant employees were also murdered.
The perpetrators, including Officer Williams' partner, were apprehended and sentenced to death for the murders.
Officer Williams had served with the New Orleans Police Department for four years, and is survived by his wife and two young children.
