Summary: Atlanta police motorcycle officer Roy Watson Dooley was critically injured December 4, 1979. Officer Dooley was en route to answer a call for help from a MARTA police officer when he collided with a vehicle that had pulled into his path on Mason Ave, NE, causing him to also strike a parked vehicle.
