Summary: Patrolman Delmar Stone was killed in a motorcycle accident while on duty. While attempting to stop a delivery truck, the vehicle struck his motorcycle. Patrolman Stone fell and was run over by the rear wheels of the vehicle; he was taken to a hospital where he died later that day due to a head injury from the fall.

Patrolman Stone had served with the agency for seven years and had previously served with the United States Navy for three years. He was survived by his wife and six children.
